Rick Green (Born: February 20, 1956 in Belleville, Ontario, Canada) is an assistant coach with the Montreal Canadiens and a previous defenceman.

Green was drafted per Washington Capitals in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft, First Overall. He was besides drafted per Quebec Nordiques in the 1976 WHA Amateur Draft, First Around, Tenth Overall. He won a OHA 1976 Max Kaminsky Trophy for Most Spectacular Defenceman when selected by league general managers. He has played for the OHA London Knights, the NHL Inland northwest Upper case, Montreal Canadiens, Detroit Red Wings and New York Islanders. He has likewise been adjunct coach for the Future York Islanders, Los Angeles Kings and Montreal Canadiens.
